Hi, It is me again Winarno; Our topic is what will you do if there is an agreement between the headmaster and supervisor that we must help students in doing the national examination? Share your opinion. I myself got that experience in 2001, the headmaster came to me and asked me to help the students in doing their English exam. I refused. And there was make up examination for those who failed in the national examination I was one of the proctors. When the teacher asked permission to give the answer to the students I let her in and I left the class. That’s what I did. The best way to help is that by making them acquire the competencies needed to pass the national exam. We must make treatment for the input, if the input is low; we must equip them with the competencies needed to follow the lesson. We must also selective in allowing students to be promoted to higher level. If the students do not deserve it, let them stay, or if you really want to promote them. Make an agreement that they must take special program in the next semester to ensure that they have mastered the competencies. Especially for the third grade students, we must identify their ability in the beginning of the academic year by giving them special test that measure basic competencies that they must master in first and second year. Based on the data we can decide which students that must join take “remedial” and “enrichment”. We can propose to the school management to conduct this activity, so that there will be special budget allotted for this purpose. By doing this the school will not be “GIGO-garbage in garbage out” institution anymore.

We know well that effect of it, the next students will be lazy. In our school, we have deal with headmaster not to help them in test. We let them do it by themselves. What will be will be.”

2. Mr. Adi (Banten) wrote “I'm sorry I haven't got the chance to check our blog http://www.gurumadrasahtsanawiyah.blogspot.com/. I think there are some problems that make them did the agreement and it is like
simalakama, we follow them so that we will not have big risks.

3. Mrs. Elfi (sumut) wrote: I can’t say anything. Our government makes a difficult decision for us but we must help our students in order to pass, mustn’t we?

4. Mrs. Fariha (Gorontalo): I think if he wants to develop his knowledge or career, he should do it & I hope it's a good choice for himself. But later she wrote another thing: “Sorry for my comment just now. I thought you talk about helping study not doing the national examination. Don't help them by giving the answer, but help them by giving the way how they could answer the test as easy as possible. e.g. teach them about counting the max & min option as Mr. Safari taught us.

5. Mr. Gofar (Bali) wrote: Do want to save your life? I know you will, I mean, if you want that, just follow the game. But if you don't want it, ignore your supervisor or your principal, just choose one of them. This is very complicated problem, as for me, save your self, just play the game, follow the game until the end. Save your life... He he… Luckily, my principal and supervisor aren't like yours, they disagree if the teacher help the student, let them cheat each other but not from the teacher. What do you think?

6. Mr. Harsoyo (DIY) wrote: I never did it, because we have responsibility to god. I don't agree about it. It can make the quality of education in our country lower.

7. Mrs. Luthfiyyah (east Kalimantan) wrote: My headmaster said, after trying hard about 3 years, now is the time to be ikhlas and istiqomah. Let God help us.
Kadinas said “let everything runs base on the rule. After studying for three years, they have got enough, helping them answering the test means poisoning their thought, moral and mind, doesn't it?

8. Mr. Makinuddin (Pontianak) wrote: I think I agree with it, as long as will change our madrasah better. I mean the quality.

9. Mr. Makmun (central Java) wrote: Helping students in doing their exams is something basically contrary to our heart. But, when the system requires it, I'm in weak position to refuse. I've got no instruction to do it.

10. Mrs. Rini (south sumatra) wrote: In my opinion. We should follow the game, because it's not only for our school but for our religion department too. But I will not force anyone to do what I do. It depends on one’s heart, ok.

11. Mr. Sambudi (Central Java) wrote: I agree to help students but how can I do it. According to director of madrasah when I was in diklat that they would punish anyone who gave the key or answer sheet.

12. Mrs. Takarina (West Nusatenggara) wrote: Be patient, I give my opinion after finishing the extra lesson at school. Then she wrote: Actually I disagree, but in fact it happened somewhere, most of them not ready for it, I think basically it is a wrong-doing, so I myself never become team success, although the head master asks me, I always refused.

13. Mrs. Yully (centra Kalimantan) wrote: Nanyanya banyak banget seperti diinterogasi nih, capeek deh!!! Then she wrote: My school is not far from my house. It's about 1,5 km. I get to school by motorcycle. (this is the answer to the previous questions, but that’s ok at least she tried to answer the questions)

14. Mrs. Sulaeha (West Sulawesi) wrote: sometimes we think that it is not a necessary thing to do but if our students do not pass 100%. There will be is regret so please think it by yourself, I am sorry. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
