Hi, it’s me again………Winarno. I have tried to gather information about national examination. Here what I got…………
Here is what happened in my school. I am one of the committee in Sub Rayon 13 Kota Bandarlampung, there are 14 Sub Rayon all together. As a member of the committee I am in charge of documenting the event, so I always have a digital camera in my hand. On the first day, we have to go madrasah very early in the morning. Because the test booklet is kept in Poltabes Bandarlampung (about 6 kilometers away from my madrasah). My headmaster has to be there very early to take the test booklet. After the she took the test booklet, she was guarded by two policemen. In madrasah, some chief of “Penyelenggara” have been waiting, as the test booklet arrived. It is handed over to the chief of “Penyelenggara” it is about at 6:30 am. There are 4 (four) chief of Penyelenggara under our Sub Rayon. Each chief of penyelenggara is guarded by 2 (two) policemen. At the same time, there are 4 (four) policemen stand bye in our madrasah area. At our madrasah the test booklet then taken to “committee room” to be distributed into 16 (sixteen) rooms. The independent team watch (TPI) is there to see the whole process. There are three personnel for TPI (two of them come from Malahayati University and one of them come from STKIP PGRI Bandarlampung. At 7:00 am we had the opening ceremony for UN it last in 30 minutes; then at 7:45 am the proctors came into the committee room to take the test booklet into their respective room.
The proctor stands in front of the door while the students stand in line, the proctors let the students enter the room one by one. Then the proctors check the roll, and distribute the answer sheet. They made the students sign the attendance list. Then they put the test booklet on student’s desk, the test booklet is faced down. At 8:00 am, I rang the bell twice meaning that they can start doing the test.
At 10:00 am, I rang the bell three times. Meaning that it is the time for students to stop working, the proctors collected students’ work and put them in the envelope and seal the envelope, and then they leave the room and hand it to the committee. The proctors went to their room to have some snack and go home, they must be back the other days in four days. The committee put those envelopes into bigger envelopes based on the school under the supervision of independent team watch, and then the envelopes are sent to Rayon Bandarlampung in Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandarlampung and guarded by the policemen.
Beside responsible for documenting the event, I also helped the headmaster to provide any data about UN, as you the visitors usually bring form to fill out, normally about the number of UN participants and whether everyone on the list comes or not. There are also some questionnaires.
During the national examination we got some visitors they are;
1st day, we got a visit from Kanwil Departemen Agama Propinsi Lampung & RRI Tanjungkarang and Rector of Lampung University (he just stopped by for a while)
2nd day, we got a visit from Kandepag Kota Bandarlampung and Dinas Pendidikan dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandarlampung
3rd day, we got a visit from Puspendik & Irjend Jakarta
4th day, we got a visit from Depag Jakarta, accompanied by officer from Depag Propinsi Lampung.
For the madrasah examination that is held from Friday, may 9th to Wednesday, may 14th 2008. I am posted out of my madrasah, it is madrasah tsanawiyah al-uttrujiyah which is located 10 kilometers away from my madrasah. It is in Telukbetung, I must go earlier. I
Here are the short messages I got within this week….(from May 5th to May 8th, 2008). Have a look……….

Farida (Sulbar) wrote: Hi, sorry again...I don't see your sms. in my opinion i agree with mr. ghofar. we don't help our students to do their examination. let with students help others. Maybe the students cheat from their friends. It depends on the situation maybe.. N how about your students? (We don’t provide any help
Ahmad Muhtadi (Semarang) Mr. Win, I have tried to browse the 'blogspot'. But why was my opinion not able to be joined in the webs. Did I run it correctly? By the way, my MTs is not so far, just fifteen minutes by riding motor. (I wrote: don’t worry sir, I will update it later!)
Ghofar (Bali) So far so good, hehehe... and how about u guys? Do you feel so? Yeaah we can take a deep breath and blow up as strong as you can, as if we are the champion although we still dag dig dug waiting for the result of UN. But deep in my heart and I always pray to Allah that 4 this year none fails and your students do too. I predict that there are some of my students fail, especially for bhs indonesia, they said that bhs indonesia is more complicated and difficult than english. Ya I agree with them.
In the first semester I was with them in Pronunciation Subject).
Ahmad Zarkasy (Jambi) Bagaimana keadaan, Bos? Komitmen kita tetap kan? (He confirmed whether in my school we help students in doing their exam or not. We did not help them. Let the find from their own way. For your information in the last LUN we held. There are about 50% of the students failed. We have seen that English is much easier compared with Math, isn’t it?
Samhudi (Banten) 1 am so sorry. 1 can't share anything about UN because 1 haven't any job at UN. (That’s fine, you have 160 characters in one sms, why don’t you make use of it?)
Luthfiyah (Balikpapan) Win, I've committee meeting about pon 17 in governor office now, I'll write to you later. (Don’t forget to provide me a round trip plane ticket to East Kalimantan). Until now she hasn't reply
Makinuddin (Kalbar) Thanks the national exam has run well, but according to the student that math is rather difficult.
Ahmad Muhtadi (semarang) Mr. Win, how do you feel new, after finishing that national exams? I feel free. Well, what about the last question f our blogspot?
Ahmad Muhtadi (Semarang) Actually, I'd been answering to the blogspot, but it was never successful to access. I think it's better just by SMS for me.
Sudarti (Bangka Belitung) Everything is ok during UN. There is no a big matter happened in my town. I hope all of students can pass the exam well.
Dedi Halim (Jabar) Nothing special but a little busy because there are many visitors controlled the un. You know, it wasted much money, do you agree un ìs the only 1 as a passing grade 4 our student? We have to think about it. This is the topic we have to discuss. What is our opinion.
Ahmad Muhtadi (Semarang)In fact, we've passed by t UN but I don't know whether the result is good or not especially at my MTs. In this UN, there's nothing, as habitual event, what will be will be. However, I think let the UN goes on but the decision of students' passing examination is by t local 'madrasah'. What about your opinion?

After school he usually takes his friends home to play games on his computer. He loves playing the sims very much. His friends rode bike to get to our home. Of course they got thirsty and tired that’s way my wife usually provides meals for them. For your information my son is interested in studying in Gontor, not the one in East Java, but the affiliate that is located in south lampung about 70 kilometers away from our home. For me, it is fine. But my wife seems rather sad).
